Calculate the parts of blackjack that can be isolated cleanly.
Blackjack is ruleset-sensitive, so Baccaret avoids fake universal edge calculators.
What the payout calculator works out
The 3:2 vs 6:5 payout calculator does one job exactly: it compares what a natural blackjack pays under the two common paytables. At 3:2 a natural wins 1.5 times your bet. At 6:5 it wins 1.2 times. The gap is 0.3 of your bet on every natural that gets paid.
A worked example
Bet $25 a hand. A natural pays $37.50 at 3:2 and $30 at 6:5, so the 6:5 table keeps $7.50 more of that hand. With six or eight decks you get a paid natural on roughly 4.5% of hands (a natural against a dealer natural pushes instead). Over 100 hands that’s four or five naturals, or about $34 less at the 6:5 table: roughly 1.4% of everything you bet, which is more than most other rule changes combined.
What it assumes
It assumes the natural is paid and looks at nothing else. Deck count, whether the dealer hits soft 17, doubling rules and surrender all move the house edge too, so we don’t pretend one number covers the whole game. Read blackjack rules and house edge and what each rule change is worth, then basic strategy and surrender.
