Source & interpretation notes
The probability and return benchmarks are reproduced from published combinatorial analyses of eight-deck baccarat. Baccaret uses them as reference inputs, not as evidence that a particular next hand can be predicted. Variant rules require separate analysis.
How we verified these figures
In October 2026 we recomputed every figure on this page with our own exact enumeration: every possible sequence of up to six cards from an 8-deck shoe, with card removal, weighted by how many ways it can be dealt. It gives Banker 0.458597, Player 0.446247 and Tie 0.095156, matching the published values above. The same count gives these variant figures:
