Commission vs no-commission baccarat
No commission sounds automatically better. It is not a complete rule description. The casino normally takes back value somewhere else.
Quick answer
Standard baccarat typically pays Banker wins at 0.95 to 1 after a 5% commission. Common no-commission variants instead change a particular Banker outcome. EZ Baccarat pushes a winning three-card Banker 7; another widespread format pays only 1 to 2 when Banker wins on 6.

Commission is only one term in the paytable. Removing a visible fee can still produce a higher house edge if the replacement rule is more expensive. Compare expected value, not the marketing label.
